Lost in Translation

did i ever mention that i saw lost in translation on the flight coming back to england? did i mention how terrible disappointing it was?? e.g. the scene with the prostitute in his room was just silly. i was expected a non-stop adventure of something special. a journey like the kind scorses takes us on.. this movie was too clumsy.

love actually, in contrast, was far far better than i had expected. it was trying to send one obvious message and it did it in a funny way. mission accomplished. there weren't enough scenes cut from L.I.T. as i understand it, they shot in within a month or something so i guess there wasn't much editing to do!
